| NIMBUS WINS CONTRACTOR OF THE YEAR AWARD |
|
The Madison Chapter of the NARI conducts the CotY Awards annually to recognize the best achievements in remodeling projects. This year, the Madison Chapter of NARI received over 40 entries for CotY Award consideration. Each entry is comprised of “before and after” photography and detailed project descriptions. In selecting winners, judges considered functionality, aesthetics, craftsmanship, innovation, degree of difficulty, problem solving, and entry presentation. It’s an incredible honor to be recognized by our peers with this award. This is a great validation of the hard work and talents of the entire Nimbus team. We would like to give a huge thank you to Bob McChesney & Ingar Stole for the the trust they placed in Nimbus and the opportunity to work in their home. Here’s a quote from the Bob: "Our needs for the project were specific in the sense that we had clear uses we needed to make of the space, but they were open-ended in the sense that we were open to Nimbus coming up with creative solutions to the problems we faced with converting a somewhat incoherent old three-unit boarding house into a one-family home.
Time and time again we were delighted with the plans and execution of Nimbus. David listened closely to our concerns and invariably came up with approaches that we could never have thought of. Nimbus was able to look at our somewhat eccentric house and rather than emphasize the barriers to what we wanted, he came up with creative ways to accentuate the nature of the 100-year-old building and still accomplish our goal of making a very functional home for our family. The final product far exceeded the wildest expectations that we had before we began the remodeling program." |
